Clarence Lee’s ‘57 #467 and the US Postal Service’s last stamp in Lunar New Year stamp series which began in 1992 [Ooops, I said 1993 in the last Oak Leaf. –Ed.] celebrates the Year of the Monkey. The previous stamps issued celebrated the Year of the Rooster, Dog, Boar, Rat, Ox, Tiger, Hare, Dragon, Snake, Horse, and Ram.

Next year, the entire collection of Clarence’s stamps will be issued in a Commemorative Stamp Souvenir Sheet.
